IFK Göteborg is forced to reschedule matches in the Conference League. The reason is a scheduling conflict with Gais, which also enters the second qualifying round.
What happens now?
IFK Göteborg will play the first round of the Conference League on July 21 instead of July 23 as previously planned. The return match on the away field will be played on Thursday, July 30. Ramon Pascal Lundqvist says that the team is ready for the challenge.
Why is it important?
The matches in Europe will be Göteborg's first since 2020. Noah Tolf thinks it will be fun to play abroad. | Date | Opponent | Arena | | --- | --- | --- | | July 21 | Caernarfon Town FC or FCI Levadia Tallinn | Gamla Ullevi | | July 30 | Caernarfon Town FC or FCI Levadia Tallinn | Away field
What does it mean for Allsvenskan?
The change in the Conference League schedule also means that IFK Göteborg's Allsvenskan match against IF Brommapojkarna will be moved from July 19 to July 17.
