IFK Göteborg's football manager Jesper Jansson has said that a sale of Benjamin Brantlind is close to hand. According to Sportbladet, there is concrete interest from at least two clubs. It is about Strasbourg and Belgian Club Brügge, who are both ready to bid on the offensive midfielder. Brantlind has six months left on his contract with IFK Göteborg and can soon sign with a new club and leave for free after the season. But Blåvitt wants to get money for a transfer and therefore a sale in the summer is very close to hand. After starting the season on the bench, Brantlind played in the final Allsvenskan match before the summer break and was emotional when interviewed after the 5–4 win over Västerås. – It's been a great ending. I've played more, scored points, scored goals. It's meant a lot, said Brantlind. According to Sportbladet, Strasbourg and Club Brügge are ready to bid on Brantlind. It is not clear if either of the clubs has given a concrete bid on the player. According to Jansson, it is not impossible that a sale will occur in the summer. – We have not received any bids on Benjamin, but it is not impossible that we will receive a bid in the summer, said Jansson in an interview with Fotbollskanalen.
