IFK Göteborg led the match against Mjällby, but it didn't last long. The visiting Blekinge team equalized 1–1 on a penalty kick. – We're disappointed that we didn't get more out of it, says August Erlingmark. IFK Göteborg came into the match strengthened from their first three wins in the derby against Öis last week. The team also took the lead at home on Gamla Ullevi through Sebastian Clemmensen, but just a few minutes later, the ball went into the own goal. This was after Jacob Bergström acted coolly from the penalty spot. His first allsvenska penalty kick in his career. – I was self-assured, so I just pushed it in. It was great! I'm a hundred percent, anyway, he says. Blåvitt's Ghanaian defender Rockson Yeboah became a bit of a scapegoat for the home team, as it was he who caused the penalty. – It's up to the referee, but I think it's a bit cheap. I haven't seen the replay, but I think it's a bit too cheap, he says. Mjällby was close to winning and had a situation that looked like it would be a sure goal – but then Elis Bishesari made a really sharp save. The match ended 1–1 – a result that IFK Göteborg is not entirely satisfied with. – We've felt here for a few weeks now that we're on the move, and that we've been doing good matches. We feel that it's a different Blåvitt now, and we're on the right track. That's why I think it's tough to stand here now with only one point, says IFK Göteborg captain August Erlingmark.
